At the heart of Relay Recording is a 32-channel Trident Series 80B console - a rare and acclaimed centerpiece engineers have relied on for adding nuance and warmth to sessions for almost four decades.

The 80B was the workhorse behind genre-defining records like Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction, Fleetwood Mac’s Tango In the Night and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Into the Great Wide Open, and the EQs and preamps of each individual channel have been highly sought-after tools for studios of all sizes ever since.
